YouTube Channel, Miskatonic Audio Library, were kind of enough to narrate my short story, “Misplaced Trust” (taken from my second collection, Who Spoke on the Other Side). He’s narrated Lovecraft’s works in the past, “The Book” and “The Hound.” Definitely has a voice for narration and I would highly recommend you check it out.
You can listen to “Misplaced Trust” below.
Josh Hancock from Horror Novel Reviews gave Who Spoke on the other Side a 4/5! Which a tad bit better than what The Stone Man and other Weird Tales received, a 3.5/5. The full review can be found below, but here’s an excerpt from the review.
Micah Castle’s Who Spoke on the Other Side has touches of everything that horror fans love: eerie locations, ghastly discoveries, unfathomable creatures, characters embroiled in horrific scenarios, and even a few moments of philosophical insight. This new collection is perfect for fans of H.P. Lovecraft or Karl Edward Wagner–and for anyone who longs to be transported into the ghoulish, ghostly world of the supernatural.

My second collection of weird/horror shorts, Who Spoke on the Other Side, will release a week from today!
For the first three days it’ll be set to $0.99 and two separate giveaways will be listed, one on Goodreads and another on Amazon.
While you wait, you can pick up The Stone Man and Other Weird Tales for just $0.99 on Amazon.
Crimson Streets was one of the first websites to feature my work, and they have been great to me, even when some of my stories didn’t work for their website.
Moving forward, they have released their first physical magazine, Crimson Streets #1: A Story A Week and Other Tales. It contains detective stories, weird tales, and nearly everything between the two. Moreover, it contains fantastic illustrations. (Also, contains my short story, “Confession.”)
It’s $15.99 USD, but it’s 304 pages long, so you definitely get your money’s worth. Purchase it on Amazon now!
It’s that time again! My second book, currently untitled, is set to release in July. Thus, I’m looking for some kind, but critical, beta readers to help make the book the best it can be.
Those who do help will be listed in the “Thanks To” page on the book, also will receive a free digital copy (or paperback copy, depending on how many beta readers and how well the book does) upon release.
